Terms of Use

Scope

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Kardive website, application, calculator, search, scenarios, watchlists, alerts, opportunities, dashboard, portfolio, exports, billing and account features. They apply to visitors browsing public pages and to users with a Free or Pro account.

Account creation

To create an account, users must provide accurate information, choose a secure password when using email login, verify their email when required, and accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. Social sign-in can be used when available, but account creation still requires acceptance of the legal terms.

Service description

Kardive helps users evaluate Pokémon card grading decisions by comparing raw prices, graded prices, costs, grade probabilities, expected value, break-even grade, risk, saved scenarios, watchlists, alerts, portfolio entries and opportunity rankings. The service is a decision-support tool, not financial, investment, tax, legal or grading advice.

User responsibilities

Users must not misuse the service, bypass plan limits, scrape or resell data, interfere with security, use the product for unlawful purposes, submit malicious content or attempt to access another user’s data. Users are responsible for checking card condition, authenticity, market liquidity, grading risk and final transaction choices.

Prices and market data

Market data can be delayed, incomplete, estimated, cached, missing or different from real transaction outcomes. Kardive may use third-party data providers and internal calculations. No card value, resale price, grading result, sale count, opportunity score or expected value is guaranteed.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown taxes included when applicable. Subscription management, invoices, payment method changes and cancellation are handled through Stripe Checkout or the Stripe Billing Portal. If a subscription is cancelled at period end, Pro access can remain active until the paid period expires.

Plan limits and fair use

Free and Pro plans can include different limits for calculations, watchlists, saved scenarios, alerts, portfolio, exports, opportunities and other features. Kardive may apply technical safeguards, rate limits and abuse prevention to protect the service and third-party quotas.

Suspension and deletion

Kardive may suspend or restrict access when required for security, abuse prevention, unpaid subscriptions, legal compliance or material breach of these Terms. Users can request or trigger account deletion according to the account settings workflow, subject to legal retention duties and billing constraints.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Kardive is not liable for market losses, grading losses, missed opportunities, third-party outages, inaccurate provider data, external marketplace changes or decisions made using the service. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Changes

Kardive may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, security or business changes. Material changes should be communicated through the website, application or email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent French courts, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules. For consumer disputes, users may contact Kardive first at contact@kardive.com and may then use the consumer mediation service designated by Kardive where applicable.
